2023 Big Day of Minis @ Your Library

Join your Abilene Public Library for a full day of fun celebrating gaming, miniatures, artistic design, and more. All ages are invited to join in! The doors will open at 9:00AM, then meetup on the 2nd floor of the Main Library (202 Cedar St.).

ACTIVITIES	BRIEF DESCRIPTION
WARHAMMER GAMING SESSIONS	20-minute gaming sessions will be in place for this tabletop miniature war game. Players use miniature models to represent warriors they can move across a playing field to simulate a battle for engaging roleplaying fun.
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS GAMING SESSIONS	One of the most popular roleplaying games that debuted in 1974. It departs from traditional war gaming by allowing players to create their own characters, each embarking on adventures in a fantasy setting, controlled by a dungeon master.
TABLETOP GAMING	Various tabletop games will be available with people on hand to help you learn to play. Discover just how awesome these roleplaying games can be from any of our gaming enthusiasts on hand. Those interested in getting in on the game will certainly get the opportunity.
BIG MINIS CONTEST	If you're ready for some real competition, all ages are invited to participate in the Big Minis Contest. All ages are welcome to submit an entry in the category of Group, Kit, and Freeform. For more information, visit the Contest Page online.
DOOR PRIZES	Various door prizes will be given out throughout the day to those who come out and participate. You must be present to win and they will be drawn randomly throughout the day. Anyone can win just by showing up so be sure to enter during the event.

	U.S.S. Diamondback, Starfleet This is the local Abilene chapter in STARFLEET, Region 3, which has been a long partner with the library in the past for our Lib-Con series. This group welcomes anyone with similar interests to join as long as you are a fan of all things Star Trek, science fiction, and fantasy.

	Warhammer: Age of Sigmar: Fury of the Deep This kit by contains 43 plastic Citadel miniatures, including an Auric Flamekeeper, five Auric Hearthguard, five Hearthguard Berzerkers, 10 Vulkite Berzerkers, Akhelian Thrallmaster, Akhellian Allopex, 10 Namarti Reavers, and 10 Namarti Thralls. The units are supplied with 45x 32mm Citadel round bases and a 90x52.5mm oval base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly. You will also find a copy of the core rules in this box. This book contains a Conquest Unbound section featuring rules for more unusual types of battles in the Mortal Realms.

	D&D Prismatic Paint Basic Starter Kit D&D Prismatic Paint is designed to go on smoothly and leave a nice, matte finish on hobby miniatures.
