Rules

  • 15 and older can enter Adventure Cove by themselves - children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Aquatic staff are trained in first aid - if you require assistance, please contact the closest staff member
  • Children are not allowed to use the pool without adult supervision
  • City of Abilene buildings, facilities, and parks are “Smoke Free” areas (Ordinance 41-2014) - Violations could result in fines, penalties, and/or arrest
  • The City of Abilene prohibits the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages inside any buildings, facilities, and park (Section 22-2) Violations could result in fines, penalties, and/or arrest
  • For the safety and protection of guests, the use of cameras, cell phones, tablets, and any digital photography equipment are prohibited in all bathroom/locker room areas
  • Guests engaging in “rough-housing” or acting in an unsafe or profane manner or in a manner not conducive to a family atmosphere will be required to leave immediately without refund
  • Guests that are prone to seizures or that have serious medical conditions must be accompanied at all times by an individual who is knowledgeable of their condition and responsible for their direct supervision
  • Guests who are intoxicated or are under the influence of drugs are not permitted inside the park and Adventure Cove
  • Guests with inappropriate swim attire may be asked to change or leave the facility
  • If you suffer from a severe medical condition, please inform Guest Services upon your arrival so that staff can be made aware
  • Individuals with a cold, open sore or cut, or infectious or communicable disease are restricted from entering Adventure Cove.
  • No diving or jumping in the water
  • No food or beverages in any body of water
  • No guest shall pollute the water in any manner; spitting, spouting of water and blowing the nose in any body of water or on the deck
  • No gum, sunflower seeds, tobacco
  • No horseplay - running, throwing objects, riding on shoulders, or playing on ladders
  • No long breath holding allowed in the water
  • No outside food and beverages allowed
  • No stacking, standing, or throwing tubes
  • No standing, climbing, or jumping on play features
  • No tubes in Stingray Bay or the Vortex
  • Only Coast Guard approved floating device - no outside inflatable devices of any kind
  • Please shower before entering the water or slides
  • Swimmer must wear appropriate swim attire - no jeans or cutoffs in the water
  • Toddlers are required to wear swim diapers
  • Diapers must be changed in the restrooms
  • Regular diapers are not permitted
