Goals for Abilene

My goals for Abilene are to retain our recent graduates from our universities and trade schools here by increasing our competitive pay opportunities, making sure our existing small businesses have access to support and funding, and by starting an Accelerator/Incubator for new graduates to build their prototypes here. I want to keep Abilene retiree friendly by encouraging physician specialists to open practices here and supporting our senior meals at Rose Park Senior Center. I want to focus on keeping our city departments, including police and fire, stormwater, parks, and roads efficient and with competitive pay and secure our water sources for future growth and hedge against increased drought. Finally, I want to improve the I-20 corridor and Butternut.
