Three-Year Annexation Plan
Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation of Certain Territory
The City of Abilene, Texas, proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said City to include approximately 10 acres of land located 4009 Beltway South, being the southern portion of the Beltway Park Baptist Church property.
Public hearings will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Abilene, Texas, on the 20th day of May 2013 at 8:30 am and on the 13th day of June, 2013 at 8:30 am, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Abilene, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation, at said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard.
This Notice is given in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code.

Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation of Certain Territory
The City of Abilene, Texas, proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said City to include 55.88 acres of land located south of Beltway South (FM 707) and east of the Beltway Park Baptist Church property and described in Exhibit A, attached and a part of this Notice for all purposes.
Public hearings will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Abilene, Texas, on the 14th day of March, 2013 at 8:30 am and on the 28th day of March, 2013 at 8:30 am, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Abilene, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation, at said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard.

Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation of Certain Territory
The City of Abilene, Texas, proposes to finalize annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said City to include 740 acres of land located in the southeastern part of the Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.
Public hearings will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Abilene, Texas, on the 3rd day of December, 2009 at 8:30 am and on the 17th day of December, 2009 at 8 am, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Abilene, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation, at said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard.

The City of Abilene, Texas, proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said City to include 5.038 acres of land located south of the existing Beltway Park Baptist Church located at 4009 Beltway South and east of the Bella Vista Estates subdivision and described in Exhibit A, attached and a part of this Notice for all purposes.
Public hearings will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Abilene, Texas, on the 10th day of April, 2008 at 8:30 am and on the 24th day of April, 2008 at 8 am, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Abilene, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation, at said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard.

The City of Abilene adopted a new Three-Year Annexation Plan on December 7, 2006.
The Inventory was prepared pursuant to Section 43.053(g) of the Texas Local Government Code. Two public hearings will be held by the City Council within 90 days, notice of which will be provided in this newspaper and on the City’s website at least 10 days in advance and no more than 20 days prior.

Other Annexation Proceedings
The City Council considered additional areas for inclusion in the Three-Year Annexation Plan at their meeting on November 16, 2006. It recommended two of the areas, Area C and Area D, for more immediate annexation proceedings. Staff will be preparing the proposal and plans to present it to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council in early 2007.
