Splash Pads

Splash into Adventure with the City of Abilene’s Parks and Recreation! Abilene has 5 different splash pads for families to visit, located at Grover Nelson Park, Arthur Sears Park, Stevenson Park, Scarborough Park, and Redbud Park! The first splash pad came to town in 2013 in Grover Nelson Park, and four others followed in later years. These aquatic spots provide dozens of different water features for all ages, ranging from water sprayers to slides to massive dumping buckets. Kids are always eager to come to the splash pads, and each splash pad is open from dawn to dusk from mid-April to mid-October!
