The Abilene Downtown Association is a member-based organization, made up of individual business owners and stakeholders within Downtown Abilene.
Its mission is to promote and protect downtown businesses and the downtown community as a whole. Through close cooperation with the City of Abilene and civic organizations, it strives to continually improve the downtown community, and entice new businesses to the area.
The Abilene Downtown Association puts together two of Abilene's popular downtown events; Big Day Downtown in the spring, and City Sidewalks during the holiday season.
