Swimming with friends is fun! Level 1 & 2 swim lessons orient students over the age of 5 to the aquatic environment and help them develop positive attitudes and safe practices around water.
The City of Abilene proudly presents Swim Lessons at Adventure Cove!
Join Pirate Pete and his band of misfits as we learn how to be safe in, around, and beside the water. Lessons are taught by Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors and each 30-minute lesson costs only $45 per participant.
The 2022 season will include four separate sessions lasting two weeks Tuesday - Friday.
- Session 1: June 7th - 17th
- Session 2: June 21st - July 1st
- Session 3: July 12th - 22nd
- Session 4: July 25th - August 5th
Level 1 & 2
Swimming with friends is fun! Level 1 & 2 swim lessons orient students over the age of 5 to the aquatic environment and help them develop positive attitudes and safe practices around water. They will acquire aquatic skills such as bobbing underwater, retrieving objects, and floating. The instructor will assist in skill development with front glides, floats, and combined arm and leg action.
Each session will feature three-time opportunities for each session.
