Summer series where teens and adults can watch the entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Don’t miss out on our Pirate Flix series at your Main Library this summer. Sticking with the summer theme of Oceans of Possibilities, we’ll work our way through the Pirates of the Caribbean series starring Johnny Depp in the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. Plus, at each movie showing we’ll have a pirate theme button for you to collect…see if you can collect them all by the end of summer. For this showing, we’ll be watching 2003’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.” In this film, Blacksmith Will Turner teams up with eccentric Pirate Jack Sparrow to save his love, the governor’s daughter, from Jack’s former pirate allies, who are now undead. This film is rated PG-13 for action/adventure violence and has a run time of 2 hours and 23 minutes.
