Sea Tales: "Arctic Tale" (South Branch)

Friday, June 17, 2022

Weekly documentary series for local youth to learn more about the ocean for the theme of the Summer Reading Club.

Kids and parents are invited to join your South Branch Library for a wonderfully educational movie all about the ocean every Friday during June and July at 4:00PM. At this session will be watching the documentary “Arctic Tale,” from 2007 and narrated by Queen Latifah. In this documentary, guests will view two narratives: the life cycle of a mother walrus and her calf, and the life of a polar bear and her cubs. These will be used to illustrate the harsh realities of existence in the Arctic. This film will run an hour and 30 minutes. Come join us with learning about the sea for the Summer Reading Club, perfect for this year’s theme “Oceans of Possibilities.”
