Pirate Flix: "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" (Main Library

Teens and adults are invited out to a weekend pirate flix as we work our way through the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Continue the pirate movie fun this summer by joining your library for the second installment in a popular Disney franchise with “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley. Remember, we’ll also be giving away pirate themed buttons at each showing so be sure you pick up the second one to see if you can collect all five this summer. In this installment of the franchise, Jack Sparrow races to recover the heart of Davy Jones to avoid enslaving his soul to Jones’ service, as other friends and foes seek the heart for their own agenda as well. This film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of adventure violence, including frightening images, and has a run time of 2 hours and 31 minutes.
