All About Orcas: Information & Conservation (Main Library)

Saturday, June 18, 2022

A guest presenter, and Marine Naturalist, will lead a free program discussing orcas and the importance of their conservation.

Join your library as we invite in Rebekah Raux-Sumrall, a Marine Naturalist, who will provide a talk all about Orcas (more commonly known as Killer Whales). Raux-Sumrall has a background in Marine Conservation in the Northwest U.S. and will cover how they interact with one another, as well as why the conservation of their species is important. Tying right in with the Summer Reading Club theme of “Oceans of Possibilities,” don’t miss out on this great talk.
