Retro Flix: "Top Gun"

Feel free to join your library in a new monthly movie session watching hit films from the 80s and 90s.

Join us for the brand new Retro Flix movie days at your Main Library where we’ll be showing hit films from the 80s and 90s mostly. The biggest movie hit this year is most definitely Tom Cruise’s latest action flick which gave us a long-awaited sequel to Top Gun, but at this session we’ll watch the movie that made him a star and setup the sequel. Teens and adults are welcome to join us for a free showing of 1986’s “Top Gun.” In this film, as students at the United States Navy’s elite fighter weapons school compete to be the best in class, one daring young pilot learns a few things from a civilian instructor that are not taught in the classroom.
