Youth and families are invited out for an afternoon movie showing at your library. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy.

Grab your favorite drinks and snacks and head over to your South Branch to catch a great afternoon movie as part of our Saturday Matinee series. This time around, we’re going back to showing the action comedy flick “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” starring James Marsden, Jim Carrey, and Tika Sumpter. In this film, when the manic Dr. Robotnik returns to Earth with a new ally, Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic, and his new friend Tails is all that stands in their way. This film is rated PG for action, some violence, rude humor, and mild language, and has a run time of two hours.
