Join your Abilene Public Library, and the Noah Project, for this fun storytime highlighting the importance of knowing your self-worth. Children will come out to enjoy a reading of “The Lion Inside,” by Rachel Bright, which is the story of a little mouse that decides to seek lessons in roaring from the mighty lion - who happens to be afraid of mice - and how the two become good friends. Following the story, kids will participate in a fun craft learning how to make their own Lion Manes to practice their own roar. Don’t miss out on this new monthly storytime activity, which will be conducted across all three branches starting in October, and each month will feature a new book and theme.
