On Thursday, July 8th, 2021 at approximately 1:30 a.m., crews with the Abilene Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire in the 1700 block of Industrial Blvd. On arrival, crews found a single story structure with heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure. A quick attack was made and the crews were able to extinguish the fire. The business was not open to the public at the time and no injuries or casualties were reported. At this time, an estimated damage cost cannot be determined due to the amount of merchandise in the building and the damage to the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
