ABILENE, TX – On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Abilene Police Arrested a 20-year-old Abilene man on drug charges.
Elijah James Perez was taken into custody at a north Abilene home located in the 1500 block of Lillius street after officers executed a search and arrest warrant. Officers seized a substantial amount of marijuana and cocaine, along with Percocet pills and tetrahydrocannabinol, and seized two weapons from the residence.
This is an ongoing investigation. Perez is being held in the Taylor County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling just under $100,000.
