ABILENE, TX – Families are invited to Trunk or Treat sponsored by APD. Families are invited to come out dressed in their costumes. There is no cost to come out and enjoy all the festivities. The event will be held at the Abilene Police Department, 4565 South First.
On Thursday, October 27, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., members of law enforcement, first responders, and other community members and organizations will host Trunk or Treat in the Police Department’s parking lot, 4565 S. First. Families are welcome at this kid-friendly and free event. We encourage children to wear their costumes as they make their way around the parking lot and the many trunks filled with candy. The Abilene Police Foundation and Operation Blue Santa will provide a free hot dog meal.
Children will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please be mindful that it will be dark during Trunk or Treat, and families should prepare by wearing reflective clothing and having some type of lighting device, such as a flashlight.
