Local youth and families have the unique opportunity to attend some great programming this week featuring the cast and crew from Herman’s Ghostlight Theatre. Two events will be hosted at your Main Library (202 Cedar St.). First, on Thursday, December 1 at 4:30PM, join us in the storyroom for a storytime session featuring the book “Miss Nelson is Missing” by Harry Allard. Members of the theatre troupe will be on hand to provide a joint reading of this story for a live storytelling experience.
On Saturday, December 3 at 10:00AM, come back to the auditorium to attend a theatrical production of “Miss Nelson is Missing” on stage, as performed by the cast of Herman’s Ghostlight Theatre. It’s certain to be a play that will have you, and your kids, laughing along as the book is acted out right before your eyes.
Both events are free for all to attend, and we encourage local families to take advantage of these wonderful events. The goal of Herman’s Ghostlight Theatre is to build the “community’s theatre experience through entertainment, volunteer opportunities, and learning for all ages.
For more information about either of these events, contact Ellene Cudd at 325-677-2474. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
