At approximately 8:10 a.m. on February 14, 2023, the Abilene Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 7000 Block of Coldwater Dr. Crews arrived to find smoke coming from a single story dwelling. A quick attack was made and the fire was brought under control. Damage is estimated to be $20,000. Fire was ruled accidental in nature and the investigation is ongoing.
