Abilene, Texas – The United States Department of Justice will award Abilene Police Lieutenant, Brad McGary, the U.S. Attorney’s Award of Excellence. Individuals who receive the award are recognized for their demonstration of extraordinary effort during the past year, in criminal and civil cases in support of the Department of Justice’s shared mission with APD. He was nominated for this award by the Department of Justice.
Lt. McGary has been with the Department since 1991 and has served in many leadership roles throughout his career. He currently serves as the Patrol Supervisor for B Company.
The award presentation will be presented on Friday, September 15, at a ceremony in Dallas, TX. The Department congratulates Lt. McGary for this recognition and the Department celebrates with him.
