Latest COVID-19 testing numbers as of May 24, 2020

These are the latest COVID-19 testing numbers and results reported to the Abilene Taylor-County Public Health District as of May 24, 2020.

Please note one death has been removed from the previous count of 6 and reassigned to that individual’s county of residence. Hospitalizations is the total number of individuals hospitalized in Taylor County with COVID-19, no matter their county of residence.

Due to required changes in reporting effective 5/6/20, demographic information for positive COVID-19 patients will not be available until Health District staff can recalculate data, accounting for a change in distribution and classification of cases.  We will share daily testing numbers in the current format until demographic information is again available and properly distributed.
