Effective March 31 at noon, the City of Abilene will no longer permit contact sports (i.e. basketball) to be played at the City of Abilene Parks. The City of Abilene’s playgrounds will also be closed to the public to enforce social distancing and to alleviate the spread of COVID19 through direct contact. This will remain in effect through Tuesday, April 14 until 11:59pm unless otherwise modified, terminated, or extended.
