Detectives with the Abilene Police Department’s Cyber Crimes, Fraud Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety, arrested a 67-year-old Abilene man this morning. Officers executed a search and arrest warrant in the early hours of April 15, at a home located in the 500 Block of Poplar St. in South Abilene.
Robert Calk (67 yoa) was arrested for Second Degree Felony Promotion of Child Pornography. Calk is accused of downloading and uploading child pornography through the internet. Electronic Evidence was seized from the residence. This investigation is ongoing.
