Structure Fire: 300 Block of Pleasant Hill

On May 7th, 2020, at approximately 6:15 a.m. the Abilene Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of Pleasant Hill.  Fire crews arrived to find a RV fully involved, and quickly spreading to a manufactured home. A fire attack was made and both fires were quickly brought under control.  The lone resident was able to exit the manufactured home safely, and there are no reported injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting as needed.  Both the RV and manufactured home received extensive fire damage and are deemed a total loss.   The cause of the fire is under investigation.
