North Abilene Credit Union Robbery


ABILENE, TX – Detectives with the Abilene Police Department are working a robbery of a north Abilene credit union that occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. A call of a robbery came into Dispatch at 11:34 a.m. by the First Abilene Federal Credit Union located at 1118 Pine St.  A white male wearing a black gator style face-covering entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the teller. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money. This investigation is ongoing. We encourage anyone who may have information to contact Abilene Crime Stoppers, (325) 676-8477 (TIPS).
