Hit and Run Investigation
ABILENE, TX – The Abilene Police Department Traffic Investigation is looking for information on a hit-and-run which left a 40-year-old female pedestrian in critical condition.
On Monday, October 12, at 7:56 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 700 Block of North Pioneer near State and Capital Streets for an injured subject. Officers arrived to find a 40 year old female lying on the roadway. The victim was taken to a local hospital and eventually flown to a Metroplex hospital due to the severity of her injuries. Some evidence at the scene suggests she was possibly hit by a vehicle. Investigators are asking if anyone has any information on this incident to contact Abilene Crime Stoppers (325) 676-8477 (TIPS).
