ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police Department Special Operation Division arrested 39-year-old Colby Smith of Abilene. Agents served a search warrant at a south Abilene motel at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Smith was contacted outside of the motel, located in the 4300 block of Sayles Blvd. Over 6 ounces of methamphetamine was seized. Smith was transported to the Taylor County Jail. He is charged with First Degree Felony Delivery of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Heroin, and Class A Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance Hydrocodone.
