Homicide Investigation
Update: APD has identified the female located in the Clear Fork of the Brazos near Lake Phantom Hill as 38-year-old Priscilla Limon of Abilene. Next of kin has been notified. Her death is being investigated as a Homicide. Police are asking anyone with any information about Ms. Limon to contact us at 676-6610 or Abilene Crime Stoppers, 676-8477 (TIPS). No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Deceased Female
ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police were called out to North Abilene near Lake Fort Phantom Hill on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 10:20 a.m. due to a body being located under suspicious circumstances. Detectives arrived to find a deceased, unidentified female. The body was transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy was conducted. The identity of the victim is known, however, has not been released pending next of kin notification and the ongoing nature of this investigation. The cause of death is also pending. This incident is not believed to be related to the homicide from 1800 University Blvd.
