Alyssa Crow, South Branch Manager, was on hand to talk about the upcoming Summer Reading Clubs at your Abilene Public Library. This year's theme is Tails and Tales where it's all about living things with tails to stories and fairytales.
Unlike 2020, we are ramping up the activities we have to offer this year for the community to enjoy. From news series including Stories in the Garden to classic favorites such as Read to a Dog Day, we're excited to be able to offer a full lineup of activities for everyone to get involved in this year.
Starting June 1, feel free to visit any branch location to pick up your Summer Reading Club information. This will include a free tote bag and an activity guide listing all the programming that will be going on for the next two months at all three locations. Plus, if you complete the reading club challenge, your name will be entered into drawings for prizes at the end of the summer...and we have a lot of cool stuff to giveaway.
Find all of your Summer Reading Club information online, and whatever you do, don't pass up on participating this year.
