Suspect Arrested in Stevenson Park Shooting

ABILENE, TX – The Abilene Police Department arrested 26-year-old Curtis Walker for the alleged shooting at Stevenson Park on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. No one was injured, however, his conduct placed others in imminent danger of serious bodily injury.

Walker was taken into custody for this offense without incident on Thursday, May 20, 2021, in the 1800 block of South 6th Street.  Walker was transported to the Taylor County Jail where he was charged with 3rd Degree Felony Deadly Conduct.
