1. When are the Splash Pads open?

The City of Abilene Parks & Recreation Department announces the opening of splash pad season on Friday, April 22nd. Our splash pads open from dawn until dusk, April through October.

2. When is Adventure Cove open?

The City of Abilene Parks & Recreation Department announces the opening of Adventure Cove for the 2022 Summer season will be on Saturday, May 28th. 

Sunday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Monday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Tuesday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Wednesday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Thursday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Friday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Saturday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

3. What are the admission fees for Adventure Cove?

Kids Age 2 and Under	Free
Kids Under 48 Inches	$4
Kids 48 inches and Over	$6
Adults (Age 18 and Older)	$7

4. Are there lifeguards at Adventure Cove?

Yes. The City of Abilene Recreation Division hires certified lifeguards to supervise Adventure Cove.

5. Does the City offer swimming lessons?
