1. How do I register online for Parks & Recreation classes, events, leagues or programs?

Registrations can be done from any device at the My Parks and Recreation website. or use the MyAbi app on your mobile device.

2. When do I register my child for summer camp or after school program?

Registration for summer camp begins in March. Registration for the After School program begins in July.

3. Where can I get information about sports leagues?

The City of Abilene offers both adult and youth sports. Additional league resources can be found at:

• First Baptist Church
• Pioneer Drive Baptist Church
• West Texas Youth Football League

4. What is the Parks and Recreation refund policy for registration?

Any Activity/Event cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the event/activity start date.   Any Camp cancellations must be made within the first 2 days of the camp start date.  There will be a $5 charge for cancellations.

5. Are scholarships available?

The City of Abilene does offer scholarships for Winter Break Camp, Spring Break Camp, and Summer Camp. Availability is limited. Determinations on awarding assistance will be based on annual household income.  The City of Abilene has the final discretion on any and all scholarship approvals.
