How do I transfer service to another location inside the City limits?

Please allow at least 1 business day to start service at your new address. If desired, the move out address can be turned off on a different day, Monday-Friday (business days) only. 

The transfer can be made by phone at (325)676-6405, via email at water_office@abilenex.gov, or in person at 4595 South 1st St, Abilene, TX. You will need to:

1. Verify your identity. 

2. Give the move-out address and disconnect date.

3. Provide the move-in address and start date.

4. Furnish your mailing address if different than the service address.

A $50 fee will be added to the first bill at your new address. It could take up to 45 days to receive your first bill. Be sure to pay any bill received for your old address.
