New Apps Make it Easy to Report a Problem, Find Some Fun, and Show Your #ABILove

Post Date:02/13/2019 8:30 AM

Two free apps are now available for download to help the public report a problem, or find some fun, right from their fingertips!

SeeClickFix enables anyone to report a problem directly to the City by simply taking a picture of the issue, and tapping submit. From potholes and graffiti, to illegal dumping or broken playground equipment; the issue is routed to the appropriate City department. City staff can then follow-up and share the status of each issue reported.

MyABI is developed in partnership with the Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau. With it, locals and any of Abilene’s 3.8 million annual visitors can check out upcoming events, learn about top attractions, find a place to stay, or try out a new restaurant.

The two apps are the perfect way to show your #ABILove, and help build our city into the best it can be. Download the apps to learn how to write a thank-you note for people who work to improve our city every day, and enter for a chance to win an Abilene staycation that includes a 2019 four-person season pass to Adventure Cove, tickets to the Children's Art and Literacy Festival, the Abilene Zoo, Frontier Texas, the NCCIL, the Grace, and more!

Follow the City of Abilene and Visit Abilene, Texas on social media for links to download SeeClickFix and MyABI, and see how 1,250+ Abilene I.S.D. kids have helped us kick off our thank-you note campaign. On March 4th we’ll have a live drawing for the Abilene staycation!
