KIDS' READING CLUB (AGES 0-12)Join us for a summer filled with a host of great activities to get involved in. Complete your reading challenges to earn great ocean-themed prizes and work your way towards completing a special challenge in partnership with the Children's Art & Literacy Festival (CALF) | |
TEEN READING CLUB (AGES 13-17)We encourage local teens to take a more active role in visiting your library to see what we have to offer. Earn some ocean-themed prizes for your participation and even a chance to snag free Chick-fil-A meals too! | |
ADULT READING CLUB (AGES 18+)Adults aren't left out of the reading club fun. Participate in your own club, complete certain activities, and those who complete it quickly will have a chance to win a free tote bag thanks to CALF, and other prizes too! |
In a special partnership with the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council and the Children's Art & Literacy Festival, we're offering youth the chance to earn six buttons from CALF 10-year history thus far. Use these buttons to adorn your summer reading club bag, or snag a button display (while supplies last) when you earn your first button.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE CALF BUTTON CHALLENGEThe Challenge Will Begin on June 13
If you happen to miss a week, you can read from any of the weeks you missed during the final week of the Summer Reading Club. That way you can make sure you collect them all. | |
Hosted at your Main Library (202 Cedar St) in the Auditorium (2nd floor).
Performances are for school-aged children. We do ask you leave any strollers outside of the auditorium.
