    e-File your taxes for free with IRS-trained volunteers from the AARP through the annual Free Tax Assistance program running February 5 through April 11 at your Main Library and Mockingbird Branch locations. Guests are helped on a first-come, first-served basis and you should bring with you your Photo ID, Social Security Card, W-2s, a blank check, and all other tax materials you’ll need from 2019. At this session we’ll be diving back into a hit Marvel movie and watching 2018’s breakout hit, “Black Panther,” starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyongo. In this film, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” T’Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country’s past.   8. Imagination Lab: Claymation

    Youth won’t want to miss the next Imagination Lab session at your Main Library where we get hands-on with great projects that have you thinking, imagining, and creating.     This class is for dogs aged 7 months and up. For your dogs safety, they must have completed all of their puppy shots prior to the first class.You will need to bring proof of shots with you the first day of class. Please bring flat or training collar and a six foot leash, as well as any treats your dog loves! Dogs do accompany owners the first day of class. You will learn how to build a relationship with your dog that will keep him eager to work with you! In this class, your dog will learn basic manners: - Down - Heeling - Manners when meeting others - Place - Recalls - Settle - Sit - Stays - Touch This class focuses on accomplishing the elements to pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) Test. The CGC test is offered, free of charge, to those participants who would like to test on the last day of class. Maximum of 10 dogs per class, $65 per dog.     This class is for puppies aged 4 to 6 months. For your puppy’s safety, they must have completed all of their puppy shots prior to the first class. The only exception is rabies prior to 6 months of age (as some veterinarians will not administer the rabies vaccine until 6 months). You will need to bring proof of shots with you the first day of class. In this class, you will learn training techniques that will seem like "fun and games" to your puppy but will actually be building a strong foundation of excellent manners! Your puppy will learn to: - Begin the stays - Being polite around other dogs - down - Meeting strangers - Recall exercises - Settle - Sit Your puppy will gain confidence through positive reinforcement and the gentle use of instability equipment.
