    February 27, 2021, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Meeting Room

Catch a great movie during the South Branch Library’s Saturday Matinee event where we play great hits. At this session we’ll be showing 2016’s “Hidden Figures” starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae, based on a true story. In this film, it tells the story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. This film is rated PG for thematic elements and some language and has a run time of 2 hours and 7 minutes. Light snacks will be served, or feel free to bring in your own snacks and food for the movie. For additional information, contact staff at 325-698-7565.
