As more people acquire smartphones, tablets, and laptops, you may find yourself needing a little help. If that’s you, join us for TECH (Technology Enrichment & Collaborative Help) Time at your library. Sessions will be hosted on a weekly basis at your South Branch Library where our tech gurus will help you to navigate your way through learning to use your devices and answering your tech-related questions. If you need help learning to use our digital services, learning to use features on your devices, experiencing a problem, etc., we’ll do our best to help you learn and resolve the issues you’re experiencing. We may not have all the answers, but we’ll certainly do our best to help. Guests will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 20-minutes if others are waiting. For more information, contact staff at 325-698-7565.

  2. Imagination Lab: DIY Crystals (Main Library)

    January 27, 2020, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ 1st Floor, Story Room

Youth won’t want to miss the next Imagination Lab session at your Main Library where we get hands-on with great projects that have you thinking, imagining, and creating. At this afternoon session, will be making DIY Crystals. Youth will learn how to create a snowflake or flower using simple chenille sticks. Then we’ll put them in jars, fill them with a borax solution, and see how they crystallize. This process won’t be immediate so you’ll need to take it home and watch it over the next couple of days, then you will see the sticks covered in amazing crystals. We’ll supply all the materials you’ll need. For more information, contact staff at 325-676-6067.
