  1. Computers 101

    Your Main Library will offer a great basic class that will cover the different parts of the computer, mouse and keyboard skills, along with learning basic Internet usage too. This class is geared towards adults who have had no (or very little) computer experience. Space will be limited for this class and registration will be required.   2. Crafty DIY: Valentine's Book Art

    It’s time for another session of Crafty DIY at your Main Library, the program where we offer great DIY projects for adults to come out and participate in. We supply all the materials for each session and they’re a great way to come out and learn something new, socialize with others, and have some fun at your library because crafting is fun for all ages.   3. Free Tax Assistance

    e-File your taxes for free with IRS-trained volunteers from the AARP through the annual Free Tax Assistance program running February 5 through April 11 at your Main Library and Mockingbird Branch locations. Guests are helped on a first-come, first-served basis and you should bring with you your Photo ID, Social Security Card, W-2s, a blank check, and all other tax materials you’ll need from 2019. Sessions will be hosted weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10AM to 3PM at your Main Library, Fridays and Saturdays at the Mockingbird Branch (same time). Sign-up for a spot starting at 9:30AM and continue to do so until all spots are filled. For more information, contact staff at 325-676-6025 or 325-437-7323.

  1. Baby Steps at Main Library

    Baby Steps is a weekly storytime and activity series designed for parents to share with newborns up to age 1. At each session, stories, activities, and stimuli are presented along with parental participation. Follow along as children's staff help to guide you through a number of stimulating activities, while also getting the opportunity to socialize with other parents too.

  2. Preschool Storytime at South Branch

    The Preschool Storytime is presented weekly and aimed at youth ages 3-6. Kids will listen to great stories selected by children's staff, join in fingerplays, sing, dance, and watch puppets and other visual presentations. Parents are encouraged to join in on the storytime fun.
