    Calling all teens. If you have a fandom you love, and we know you know, then you’re invited to be a part of the Fandom Club at your Main Library. At these sessions, you’re invited to meetup at the Teen Zone to meet other fans, discuss your fandoms, create fandom based art, play fandom games, and so much more.     If you’re an adult who is into knitting and crocheting, you’re invited to be a part of the Common Threads: Knitting & Crochet Club at your Main Library. You’re encouraged to bring along your projects as we gather for socializing and learning about new and interesting techniques from each other about the world of yarn.   1. Basic Dog Manners Obedience Class

    February 25, 2020, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Cobb Recreation Center

    This class is for dogs aged 7 months and up. For your dogs safety, they must have completed all of their puppy shots prior to the first class.You will need to bring proof of shots with you the first day of class. Please bring flat or training collar and a six foot leash, as well as any treats your dog loves! Dogs do accompany owners the first day of class. You will learn how to build a relationship with your dog that will keep him eager to work with you! In this class, your dog will learn basic manners: - Down - Heeling - Manners when meeting others - Place - Recalls - Settle - Sit - Stays - Touch This class focuses on accomplishing the elements to pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) Test. The CGC test is offered, free of charge, to those participants who would like to test on the last day of class. Maximum of 10 dogs per class, $65 per dog.   2. Puppy Obedience Class

    February 25, 2020, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Cobb Recreation Center

    This class is for puppies aged 4 to 6 months. For your puppy’s safety, they must have completed all of their puppy shots prior to the first class. The only exception is rabies prior to 6 months of age (as some veterinarians will not administer the rabies vaccine until 6 months). You will need to bring proof of shots with you the first day of class. In this class, you will learn training techniques that will seem like "fun and games" to your puppy but will actually be building a strong foundation of excellent manners! Your puppy will learn to: - Begin the stays - Being polite around other dogs - down - Meeting strangers - Recall exercises - Settle - Sit Your puppy will gain confidence through positive reinforcement and the gentle use of instability equipment. Please bring a flat or training collar and a six foot leash, as well as, any treats or kibble your puppy loves! Maximum of 10 dogs per class, $65 per dog.
