If you’re in need of a little stress relief and relaxation, we invite you to be a part of the Coloring Club at your South Branch Library. Coloring is a great activity for all ages and there are many benefits that can come from taking some time to express yourself through art. We’ll supply the coloring sheets and tools so you can come out, color, socialize, and have a little fun at your library.

If you’re an adult who is into knitting and crocheting, this is the club for you. Join our Common Threads group where participants are encouraged to bring their current projects and gather for some socializing and learning about new and interesting techniques from each other about the world of yarn. See what projects we’re working on and show off some of your own to inspire others. It’s a fun knitting circle just waiting for you to join, and all skill levels are welcome to join us.

Join your Main Library for a summer of Harry Potter fun during the Summer Reading Club. Each week we’ll be watching an installment of the series, making a craft to go along with the featured film, and having fun with this popular movie franchise. At this session we’ll be watching 2002’s “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” In this installment, an ancient prophecy seems to be coming true when a mysterious presence begins stalking the corridors of a school of magic and leaving its victims paralyzed. This film is rated PG for some scary moments, some creature violence, and mild language, and has a run time of 2 hours and 41 minutes. Feel free to bring in your own snacks and drinks, and be sure to come out and have some Harry Potter fun with us every week!
