Join us at your Main Library for the next Origami of the Month event. Hosted on the first Wednesday of every month, each session will feature a new origami model for you to learn & create. This come-and-go event will last the entire day, and includes all the supplies and instructions necessary to fold your very own origami! The models will vary in difficulty, but all skill levels are welcome.

If you’re in need of a little stress relief and relaxation, we invite you to be a part of the Coloring Club at your South Branch Library. Coloring is a great activity for all ages and there are many benefits that can come from taking some time to express yourself through art. We’ll supply the coloring sheets and tools so you can come out, color, socialize, and have a little fun at your library.

If you’re looking to join a book club, but happen to be pressed for time, be a part of our monthly Brown Bag Book Club. We host sessions on the first Wednesdays of each month over the noon hour so you can enjoy lunch while engaging in a book discussion over Zoom. Club size is limited to the first 10 guests that register and registration is required by visiting the sign-up page online at https://bit.ly/3gjw8xy. At this session we’ll be discussing Jodi Picoult’s “The Storyteller.”

Join your Main Library for a summer of Harry Potter fun during the Summer Reading Club. Each week we’ll be watching an installment of the series, making a craft to go along with the featured film, and having fun with this popular movie franchise. At this session we’ll be watching 2001’s “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” about an orphaned boy enrolling in a school of wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family, and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world. This film is rated PG for some scary moments and mild language, and has a run time of 2 hours and 32 minutes. Feel free to bring in your own snacks and drinks, and be sure to come out and have some Harry Potter fun with us every week!
