Join your Main Library for a summer of Harry Potter fun during the Summer Reading Club. Each week we’ll be watching an installment of the series, making a craft to go along with the featured film, and having fun with this popular movie franchise. At this session we’ll be watching 2004’s “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.” In this installment, Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their third year of study, where they delve into the mystery surrounding an escaped prisoner who poses a dangerous threat to the young wizard. This film is rated PG for frightening moments, creature violence and mild language, and has a run time of 2 hours and 22 minutes. Feel free to bring in your own snacks and drinks, and be sure to come out and have some Harry Potter fun with us every week!

Have you ever wanted a pet rat before, but you don’t know where to start or what rat is right for you? Well, this will be the program to attend as you’ll learn the best ways to take care of rats and some of the different things to look out for in case your rat is ill. Rats certainly may not be the pet for everyone, but if they sound like the right one for you, this will certainly be a program you’ll want to attend. If you do have a rat, we do ask that you leave them at home.
