    Kids and parents are invited to join your South Branch Library for a great mid-morning movie. This time we’re watching 1994’s “The Lion King” with the voices of Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, and James Earl Jones. In this film, lion prince Simba and his father are targeted by his bitter uncle, who wants to ascend the throne himself. This film is rated G for all ages and has a run time of 1 hour and 28 minutes.     Catch a great movie during the South Branch Library’s Saturday Matinee event where we play great hits. At this session we’ll be showing 2018’s “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” starring Eddie Redmayne and the rest of the fantastic cast. In this sequel, in an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help though he’s unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. This film is rated PG-13 for some sequences of fantasy action and has a run time of 2 hours and 14 minutes. Feel free to bring your one food and drinks to enjoy!
