If you’re an adult who loves crafting and DIY projects, come to your Main Library and be a part of our Crafty DIY series. Designed specifically for the adult audience, each session features a new craft to get hands-on with. We’ll supply the materials at each session, you just come out and be ready to have a little fun with staff and friends. At this session, we’ll supply you with the materials needed to show you how to make your own Sharpie Wine glasses. Come be surprised at what you can do with your own hands!

Join your Mockingbird Branch Library for a free movie showing of the Disney classic “The Emperor’s New Groove.” Then, starting at 2:30PM, tweens and adults can participate in an Escape Room, inspired by the movie, that will run until 5:00PM. The movie is rated G and this event is free for all ages through the escape room difficulty level. Don’t miss out on the Disney themed activities.

Youth are invited to join us for our monthly LEGO Club session at your South Branch Library. Hosted in the children’s area, we’ll supply you with a great selection of LEGO so you can use your creativity to build whatever you can imagine. Sometimes we’ll work on specific projects, or you can free design. Plus, work on projects solo, or team up with others to make something bigger. It’s all about just coming out and having fun at your library.

Teens are invited to join us for our monthly LEGO Club session at your South Branch and hosted in the Teen Room. We’ll bring out a selection of LEGO so you can join up with friends, while making new ones, and work on projects together. Show off your creativity by seeing what you’re able to construct while working on themed projects or free designing. It’s all about spending an afternoon at your library having fun with other teens.
