Coloring Club

If you’re in need of a little stress relief and relaxation, we invite you to be a part of the Coloring Club at your South Branch Library. Coloring is a great activity for all ages and there are many benefits that can come from taking some time to express yourself through art. We’ll supply the coloring sheets and tools so you can come out, color, socialize, and have a little fun at your library.

Crafty DIY: Seashell Painting

If you’re an adult who loves crafting and DIY projects, come to your Main Library and be a part of our Crafty DIY series. Designed specifically for the adult audience, each session features a new craft to get hands-on with. We’ll supply the materials at each session, you just come out and be ready to have a little fun with staff and friends. At this session, we’ll supply you with the materials needed to show you how to make your own Seashell Paintings. Come be surprised at what you can do with your own hands!

Harry Potter Craft & Movie: "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"

Join your Main Library for a summer of Harry Potter fun during the Summer Reading Club. Each week we’ll be watching an installment of the series, making a craft to go along with the featured film, and having fun with this popular movie franchise. At this session we’ll be watching 2009’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” In this installment, as Harry Potter begins his sixth year at Hogwarts, he discovers an old book marked as “the property of the Half-Blood Prince,” and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort’s dark past. This film is rated PG for scary images, some violence, language, and mild sensuality, and has a run time of 2 hours and 33 minutes. Feel free to bring in your own snacks and drinks, and be sure to come out and have some Harry Potter fun with us every week!
