In this film, a young boy experiences an unforgettable seaside summer on the Italian Riviera filled with gelato, pasta, and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the ocean’s surface. This film is rated PG for rude humor, language, some thematic elements, and brief violence and it has a run time of 1 hour and 41 minutes. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy.

    Catch a great new movie during the South Branch Library’s Saturday Matinee series. At this session, we’ll be showing 2021’s “Snake Eyes,” a G.I. Joe Origins story starring Henry Golding and Andrew Koji. In this film, after saving the life of their heir apparent, tenacious loner Snake Eyes is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage where he is taught the ways of the ninja warrior. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, his honor and allegiance will be tested - even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. This film is rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence and brief strong language and has a run time of 2 hours. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy.
